2027 Competitive Baseball Tryout - Spring 2027

WSR Competitive Baseball Tryouts — Spring/Summer 2027 Season

If you're interested in participating in tryouts for the 2027 Spring/Summer competitive baseball season please fill out the registration. Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, July 15th at the Cedar River Park Baseball Fields.  8U - 10U will be from 5:00 - 6:30 and 11U - 13U will be from 6:45 - 8:15.  Please arrive a half hour early for registration and to warm up.

Rain/Make-Up Date: Wednesday, July 22nd at 5:00 PM for all age groups

Eligibility: To participate, players must attend a WSR school or live within the WSR school district.  Players will try out based on their grade level in Fall 2026, not by the USSSA age calculator.  Team jerseys are not allowed during tryouts.  Walk-ins are welcome!

2026 WSR Fall Softball Leage (Team Registration) - Fall 2026

Location: All games will be played at the Cedar River Parkway Fields in Waverly, Iowa — a great setting for Sunday softball.

Schedule:

• Season Dates: August 23 – September 27, 2026

• Game Days: Sundays only

• Format: Each team will play two games every Sunday, typically as a double-header against a different opponent each week.
  While the goal is for teams to face a new opponent each Sunday, actual matchups may vary depending on the number of registered teams and overall participation.
